The 26th of October 1931 marked the first flight of the de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth. To celebrate the 75th Anniversary a Tiger Moth fly-in was held at Swartkop Air Force base, Pretoria, on Wednesday 9 August 2006. The event was hosted by the Defence Flying Club
