Three DH.82A Tiger Moths and One DHC-1 Chipmunk spent Saturday 11 September 2010 flying at Stellenbosch Airfield to commemorate the first flight of a de Havilland aircraft on 10 September 1910.
Geoffrey de Havilland assisted by Frank Hearle carried out his first flight in his home made aeroplane at Seven Barrows on 10th September 1910.
