de Havilland gathering at Jack Taylor Aerodrome, Krugersdorp.
On Saturday, 31 January 2015, six de Havilland, DH.82A Tiger Moth aircraft and a DHC-1 Chipmunk gathered at the Jack Taylor Airfield (FAKR) in Mogale City, home of the Krugersdorp Flying Club. Also in attendance was Stampe and Vertongen SV.4, ZU-SVF. The aircraft were accompanied by two motor cars, a 1934 Alfa Romeo Monza replica and a 1955 Bentley R-Type. A welcome visitor was Ted Phelps, de Havilland aircraft restorer for many, many years!

After brunch was over the Stampe and four of the Tigers took off for a spot of flying. The flying Tigers were ZS-BUA, ZS-NWJ, ZS-UKW and ZU-XRF.
